We love a new twist on tradition; a style that brings a fresh layer to a tried and true classic like the Beach wedding. With concept and beauty by Katie Nash Beauty, styling by Enjoy Events Co., crazy good florals by Max Gill and the loveliest photographs by Sylvie Gil, this inspiration is out to prove that a seaside affair can also be glamorous. From Sylvie Gil… The concept of this photo shoot came along when I sent an Iphone photo of the perfectly beautiful California sunset beach to makeup and hair stylist, Katie Nash. She immediately responded with an enthusiastic text: “We have to inspire brides to get married on the beach”
Most beach weddings are thought of as casual, bare feet, summer dress kind of events.. but we wanted to add some elegance and refinement to the concept while using all the possible natural elements the beach has to offer.
When it came to natural and elegant, Max Gill was the florist to have, his stunning pieces are always a feast to my eye. The ever so talented Katie Nash, made both of theses 2 gorgeous headpieces with material she collected on the beach (seaweed and coral). She wired them together and painted them gold. Voila!
Enjoy Events conceptualized the gorgeous table top with hues of blue, natural texture, rock salt in beach shells, and some elegant gold touches. From the stunning Casa De Perrin’s new mist collection from Heath Ceramics to Little Miss Press perfectly hand drawn calligraphy, La Tavola linen, One True Vintage Love rentals, and the gorgeous Manuel Mota Gown from Novella Bridal, it all came together exactly how we anticipated.
